The Gore-Tex Paclite Technology features lighter, more packable fabrics, which are durable, waterproof, windproof and most importantly breathable. The Gore-Text membrane found in jackets such as the Andres, contains over 1.4 bilion microscopic pores over each square cm. The pores are 20,000 times smaller than water droplets, yet 700 times larger than water vapor molecules, allowing perspiration from within, and at the same time keeping water from outside from seeping into the jacket.
