Titleist TSR2 Golf Driver - Premium Graphite
These TSR2 Driver models are fitted with upgraded Premium Graphite Design Shafts.
The Titleist TSR2 Driver has been created to provide golfers with a golf club that can offer maximum ball speed on every shot off the tee, even when a Titleist golf ball makes off-centre contact with the face of this club.
To create the most speed possible when striking a ball of a golf tee this Titleist driver uses a new “Multi-Plateau VFT face” which has been built inwards using multiple layers so that anywhere on the clubface you can experience the same speed and power for the ultimate level of forgiveness.
For even more ball speed to be generated easily Titleist has also optimised where the centre of gravity is used in this driver. The CG has been placed lower and more forward in the clubhead than in previous Titleist Drivers, so players can now create higher ball speed and spin with ease and improved launch. This has also been paired with an adjustable swing weight in the larger 460CC head to adjust the CG to find the sweet spot to match your game.
To make sure that this Titleist golf club is easy to use and golfers are able to generate faster swings speeds as easily as possible, a new aerodynamic system has been used. The TSR driver uses a new “boat tail” shape that allows this club to cut through the air faster and reduces the amount of drag that is created on a downswing. This shape also features a redesign in the toe shape to improve the angle that the club face meets the ball when connecting.
Greater speed means greater distance, and the new shape of TSR2 has been refined to make it as fast as possible through the air. The redesigned toe shape also improves the face angle for a better look at address.
This new construction approach builds the face inward, layer by layer, to create nearly constant CT across the entire hitting surface. In other words, it produces amazing forgiveness and ball speed from every strike anywhere on the face, whether pure or mis-hit.
CG placement plays a key role in both speed and forgiveness. For TSR2, the CG has been shifted both lower and more forward to increase ball speed while improving launch and spin.
