Cobra Air X Golf Driver
Cobra has created the Air-X Driver, the lightest driver that they have ever released to provide golfers with incredible straight drives with effortless swing speeds.
The lightweight design of the driver, which only weighs 277 grams, has been achieved thanks to the carbon composite crown that has been used and engineered to be 30% thinner than previous versions. This lightweight carbon crown allows players to play with faster swing speeds to generate faster ball speeds.
Cobra Golf has been able to engineer the Air-X driver so that while being able to reduce the weight of the clubhead by 2 grams, it still maintains a high MOI of 5,000 for maximum stability and forgiveness on drives. This is the perfect combination for golfers who may struggle to generate high swing speeds but also want to be able to play with smooth strokes.
One of the additional features that have been added to this driver to make sure that players can always experience straighter drives is the use of heel weighting and an off set hosel that corrects shots that have been sliced and makes sure that drives fly straighter down the fairway.
For greater speed from the tee the engineers at Cobra have been able to create a faster face that allows golfers to drive the ball as far as possible, even on shots that don’t make contact with the centre of the face.
This face has been crafted using a variable thickness design which means that the area which offers the highest ball speed has been expanded so that players can achieve their highest ball speeds even on shots that may not make perfect contact.
