Toulon San Diego H1 Pistol Golf Putter
The Toulon Design San Diego is a tour proven, classically designed heel toe weighted blade putter.
Deciding to use a blade in this Toulon design is due to the fact that it can provide better distance control and accuracy on longer putts. Best suited for players who play with strokes that often create moderate arc and face rotation.
This choice of putter style also compliments the weight reduction that has been made when Odyssey created the new multi-material shaft to be used in this series. The new shaft features a reduction of 40 grams which has been re-used by placing the weight in other areas to rebalance the putter to allow for improved tempo and consistency in players strokes.
The face of the San Diego has been designed with a premium look that Odyssey have called the “Midnight Black Finish”. This beautiful design has been paired with the deep diamond groove mill pattern that has been used to enhance the forward roll that can be created. With a focus on precise detailing the face uses the full face grooves to control sound and feel by channeling vibrations made while putting.
In the head of the club Odyssey has also decided to implement a new two split-weight design. This design moves weight in the head of the putter further forward, and towards the toe and heel. This movement of the weights improves the inertia of the head. This allows players to play with consistent speed and the ability to play at a higher level.
