Ping G425 Crossover Golf Iron Hybrid
Ping has created the G425 Crossover Iron Hybrid to provide golfers with a golf club that is able to deliver greater ball speed to create higher-flying shots that is able to land softly and closer to the greens.
This golf hybrid has been engineered to offer golfers a gap-filling golf club that is able to offer a similar performance to that of a long iron due to the distance that can be generated and the forgiveness that it provides on mishits.
To create this performance Ping has used a thinner, maraging steel face that features an internal layout that is able to create higher ball speeds easily, while also increasing the amount of loft that can be generated on every shot. This face has been covered in a stealth hydropearl finish that is able to repel moisture and allow for consistent ball speed performance to be created.
To ensure that golfers can experience the same amount of accuracy as they can with the amount of distance that the Ping G425 is able to deliver, Ping has used Extreme tungsten toe and hosel weights to expand the amount of perimeter weighting which has helped to raise the MOI by 6.5% so that this golf irons provide greater forgiveness and increased accuracy.
Designed to combine both the speed and power that this club head provides, a Ping Alta CB Slate shaft has been used and counterbalanced with an 8-gram plug which allows for greater momentum and forgiveness on golf swings while also increasing ball speed and distance.
Features
Tungsten Weighting
The tungsten toe and hosel weights increase MOI by 6.5% to provide greater forgiveness and better accuracy.
Maraging Steel Face
A thinner, maraging steel face delivers enhanced ball speeds, so you can hit high-flying shots that land softly, and close to the hole.
Gapping Efficiency
Engineered to give long-iron type performance through distance and forgiveness.
