The Cobra LTDx irons have been paired with the ONE Length 37.5” design throughout the set for consistency and accuracy from club to club.
Golfers regularly have several different variables that go into a shot that could cause inconsistencies and bad shots, such as different setup, ball position and swing for every club in their bag.
Cobra’s ONE Length design reduces many of these variables by promoting one consistent setup, ball position and swing throughout the set. What is achieved by doing this is more accuracy, consistency and improved confidence on the golf course.
This accuracy and consistency is paired perfectly with the LTDx irons that have been designed with a key focus on the revolutionary design that is featured in the core of the clubs.
The core of the irons has been injected with a polymer that encases a steel bar that runs from the hosel, down the bottom of the club and all the way to the toe. This steel bar is suspended in the middle of the polymer injection to allow more mass to be placed behind behind the area that golfers are more likely to strike the ball with, creating more power and ball speed.
Using this polymer injection design also allows for maximum flexibility of the face, sole and body of the club. This flexibility means that the face of the club absorbs the energy that is generated at the point of impact and then redirects it back to the ball to create an even more powerful shot.
Cobra has also inserted an 8 gram toe weight that enhances the stability of the club. However, to allow players to customize the irons to fit their personal preference, the toe weight can be adjusted between 2 grams and 14 grams.
The LTDx irons use Cobra’s PWRSHELL design, which is a forged cup layout that increases the amount of ball speed that can be generated across a wider area of the face.
