TaylorMade Stealth Driver
The 2022 TaylorMade Stealth Driver has been designed with a key focus of getting as much power as possible from each drive, while still offering plenty of forgiveness per shot.
All of this is possible thanks to the 60X Carbon Twist Face feature.
The club uses sixty layers of carbon fiber to increase the amount of power that can be transferred through to the ball when striking because of the larger face, meaning increased distance, ball speed and forgiveness.
The development offers a 44% lighter face compared to that of a titanium face, while also providing much larger surface area to ensure better contact with the ball. This surface area is 11% larger than the SIM2 and SIM2 Max drivers, and nearly 20% larger than the 2020 SIM driver.
So what else could be added to this club to improve drive distance even more?
Well the 60x Carbon Twist Face is covered in a nanotexture cover which is used to increase launch, spin and distance of drives no matter the playing conditions.
The driver also includes Speed Pocket technology, used within several of TaylorMade’s previous drivers. This tech helps increase the distance of shots, but is especially useful for those who may hit low face strikes.
TaylorMade’s Asymmetric Inertia Generator improves the way the club cuts through the air on a downswing. This creates a slippery fast head to increase swing speeds for golfers of any level, plus a futuristic and stealthy look. This look blends the sole faces appearance of the TaylorMade SIM and SIM2.
The look of the club definitely matches its name, with a sleek and almost dangerous design that would almost definitely strike fear into the eyes of anyone who plays a round with the person using this driver. The red and black carbon face makes the driver look like it is red hot and ready to fire a ball down the fairway with a burst of fire and smoke.
